Location – Penang, Malaysia

Your role

Are you a problem solver? Do you enjoy helping clients and delivering resolution to their issues?
We’re looking for an Associate Support Manager, within the Transportation Customer Care Division to:

  • Manage a team of three Customer Care technical specialists
  • Troubleshoot customer technical issues when using the Markit products
  • Review customer business workflows and advise them on how best to use the Markit products
  • Maintain a professional and efficient approach when resolving Markit customer issues
  • Provide detailed information to the management teams when critical issues have been identified
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to deliver best in class customer service

Your team

You will be working in the Customer Care Team in Penang, Malaysia. The team currently includes three specialists based in the USA, Malaysia and China delivering vital customer support to the Maritime & Trade, Automotive and Aerospace, Defence and Security Business Lines.

Your expertise

You have

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a customer care role, together with proven management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of office-based Microsoft applications
  • Fluent in Englishother languages are desirable.
  • Previous experience within a Data Services provider and/or experience within the maritime and trade sectors, would be an advantage.
